Mazda’s redesigned flagship model, the Mazda6, recently debuted at the Moscow auto show, and we are really excited for the sedan to make its way to our Maine Mazda dealership. As the second Mazda vehicle to incorporate both the new Kodo – Soul of Motion styling and the full suite of fuel-economy-boosting SKYACTIV technologies, the 2014 Mazda6 has both power and efficiency.

An edgier, dynamic look complements the Mazda6′s new SKYACTIV 2.0-liter engine, which currently powers the Mazda3 and Mazda CX-5. Fuel economy is expected to improve over the current model’s numbers, but the “Zoom-Zoom” you’ve come to expect from your Mazda vehicles will definitely still be found in the new sedan.

Of course, safety is also at the heart of Mazda ownership, and the Mazda6 will carry that commitment forward into the 2014 model. A bevy of active safety features are slated for the Japanese market of the Mazda6, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see features like the adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning and blind-spot monitor make their way to the U.S. market as well.

We’re very excited to welcome the new 2014 Mazda6 to our dealership next spring, and we know you’ll love the exciting new design and efficient new engine as much as we do.
